Prachatai reports that in some parts of the country* that site is being blocked:
At about 00.00 of 15 May 2008, internet users of TOT in the North, Northeast and South reported that their attempts to access "Prachatai" were blocked, and the following message is shown on the screen;
BP: The same is true for the Fah Diew Kan webboard for at least some ISPs. Can we take it a court order has been sought to block this website and it is in accordance with he law? Or just has a notice been sent to certain ISPs by TOT/CAT/MICT? On whose authority?
Normally, I think some/all blame lies with the government, but well I think the Democrats had a role in this.
btw, I await the editorial from The Nation being outraged at this censorship.
*Please report in the comments - feel free not to even use a nom de plume - on your ISP and and whether you were able to access either. I'll leave it up to you whether you want to state your location although it would be helpful for some of the larger ISPs.
UPDATE: Of course, see my previous post on the issue. So are they going after Prachatai for incitement or persuading people to break laws? Are we actually certain not standing up is a crime?

TOT, Nonthaburi
Prachatai OK
FDK Blocked

In Prachatai's case, TOT said it might just be a technical error or a mistake on the MICT's part.
FDK was definitely blocked because of its offensive content. But they can't confirm or deny the MICT's involvement in this case.
IT'S VERY HARD TO GET IN FDK,
WHAT A FLIP FLOP COUNTRY?
Both Prachatai & Same Sky (& YouTube) accessible as of 23:15 using CAT.
CAT used to be the poster child for censorship. Has TOT taken up the Royal mantle now?
