BP: The video says it all. I was amazed he quickly reverses right back over the police officer - which you can see from this screenshot. I understand the video is from October 7 in the early afternoon. The owner of the vehicle was apparently injured later that night - this blog post tracks down the owner's name from motor vehicle records and with a list of injured from later that evening in a PAD protest although we don't know who was driving the vehicle at the time.

Oh man - that's totally messed up.
Thai police has pretty poor reputation and negative cultural capital. I bet some pro-Thaksin taxi drivers probably fantasize themselves running over the police too.
This is just amazing! I think the cop is lucky to be run over by a 4WD with large wheels where his body just fits in under the vehicle, so he didn't have to bear the entire weight.
I have only seen such smooth getaways in movies.

The news person in the above video says that the owner of the vehicle had earlier been shot by the police, and then the truck was left abandoned, after which another unidentified person climbed onto the vehicle and drove it over the police.
