BBC:

Mr Kasit was seen speaking at several rallies by the Yellow Shirt protesters, who occupied the prime minister's office compound for three months and shut down Bangkok's airports.

Mr Kasit later described the blockade - which left mroe than 250,000 travellers stranded - as an "innovation in public protests".

If the PM actually walked the walk he Talks, Kasit would have been a civilian when he boarded the plane to return to Thailand.

We all know that The PM really is powerless and someone higher up the food chain is telling him what to do, but the PM has a moral obligation to the country to make Thailand look as good as possible. The PM is failing miserably in leading and I get the feeling the wind of change is blowing and the house of cards is beginning to wobble.

I'd rank this 'innovation' closer to H1N1 than to Penicillin, certainly.
