It seems to be the case that many are trying to equate Prem with Royalty or to put Prem at the same level as members of the Royal Family. The most recent attempt is by PAD leader Sondhi L a few days ago on ASTV. The excerpt of what Sondhi L states is in the video below:
Sondhi L states:
"เสื้อเหลืองออกมาปกป้องพลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนท์ ในฐานะที่พระองค์ท่่านเป็นประธานองคมนตรี"
[Translation "The yellow shirts [will] come out to protect Prem in pra ong's capacity is the Chairman of the Privy Council"]
BP: This is controversial as pra ong is the pronoun used to refer to HM the King, HM the Queen, other members of the Royal Family, buddhas, and gods.
Sondhi L is often loose with his language, but am a little surprised he said this. Was it a slip of words or did he mean it?

Sondhi is not the one to watch. Look at what Newin - in a nationally televised TV address today - and the Kamnan association and others are implying if not directly stating the reds really want. Throw that in with Shawn Crispin's red source about certain images missing from red demos. This is getting close to explosive, but then attacking the privvy council was always going to take it there and that attack was probably not made without awareness of where things would go.
It will be interesting to see if anyone (e.g., Yoon) calls him on it. It certainly seems like an utterly inappropriate use of language to me, but I'm not a native speaker.

BP: Sondhi does not have the authority to confer the rank of "pra ong" to anyone. It is a mistake when people deal with "rachasub". He did not and he could not "equate" Prem with royalty.
Sondhi can do anything though. He didn't have to go to jail for any charges thrown at him. He even made a remark that would have been categorized as LM(like.."If he can't do it...tell him to resign....) a while back. Nothing ever happens to him. Right now he waiting who is going throw him another bone to do another PR job for the puyai one more time.
Wicked. I do think the red shirt movement is good as it is not bringing the king into the political platform, unlike the yellow king pic touting fanatics. Go reds!
the Queen supported the PAD and Sondhi has told us that the Queens sister has visited with him
perhaps this has caused him to think he has powers exceeding us mere mortals
